Sizzling Prawns



These Sizzling Prawns are quick, simple, and full of flavour.  Throw them together for a quick lunch served with courgette spaghetti, as part of a stir fry with noodles or rice and vegetables, or on their own as a tasty tapas dish.  They’re so good served sizzling hot, but taste really good when cold too, so keep any leftovers (if there are any) in the fridge to go in a salad the next day.

Sizzling Prawns Recipe…

  • 1 Pack of raw king prawns (approx. 190g)
  • 1 red chilli (seeds removed and chopped finely)
  • 1 garlic clove
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • fresh parsley or coriander (optional)

Heat the butter and oil in a frying pan on a medium heat

Once hot, add the garlic and chilli and allow to gently sizzle for 1 minute

Add the prawns and cook for around 2-3 minutes until pink and cooked through

Remove from the heat, season and sprinkle with fresh parsley to serve
